H970

General

• Split Core CT for monitoring DC current — Uni-directional

Output Signal Information:

• Multiple selectable DC output ranges of 20/40/80 or 50/100/200
• Selectable mA or voltage output:

º Flex I/O modules are con�gured to mA
º mA signals are not subject to voltage drop when the sensor is connected to long lengths of wire
º vdc signals are often easier to trouble shoot. To utilize a voltage output the Flex I/O con�guration can be �eld modi�ed, refer to the Obvius Flex I/O                 manual to modify the con�guration.

• Current �ow status indicator LED
• Output signal can be connected to an input channel on a data aquisition device such as a
Obvius Flex I/O.
• Sensors are polarity sensitive, be aware of “-” and “+” wiring

Power Requirements

• Requires 15-24VDC and is polarity sensitive.
• Power and Signal are polarity sensitive, be aware of “-” and “+” wiring
• Note: if 4-20mA is utilized then 0-10vdc is not connected and if 0-10vdc is utilized then
4-20mA is not connected

Troubleshooting

LED Indication

• LED is O� = Verify there is supply power
• LED is On Solid = Verify the amperage selection switch is in the correct position for the current being sensed

Utilize a Digital Multi Meter and an Amperage Clamp to verify the output is proportional to the DC current measured – if the output signal is mA then the meter will need to be placed in series with the output, if it is a voltage output it can be measured by directly placing the meter leads on the terminals.

For currents less than 2A the wire can be wrapped through the CT multiple times.

General

• Split Core CT for monitoring DC current — Bi-directional

Output Signal Information:

• Variable selectable DC output ranges from 0-200A
• Bi-directional mA output
• Current �ow status indicator LED
• Output signal can be connected to an input channel on a data aquisition device
  such as a Obvius Flex I/O.
• Sensors are polarity sensitive, be aware of “-” and “+” wiring

Power Requirements

• Power and Signal are polarity sensitive, be aware of “-” and “+” wiring
• Note: if 4-20mA is utilized then 0-10vdc is not connected and if 0-10vdc is utilized
  then 4-20mA is not connected.
