DECK Monitoring SMA Webbox Leap Day Fix

Enable Automatic Firmware Upgrades

Under WebBox->Settings->Data Trans confirm the following:

a. Use Sunny Portal: Yes
b. Automatic Firmware Upgrades: Yes
c. Use FTP Push service: Yes
d. FTP server: upload.deckmonitoring.com
e. Port: 21
f. Use authentication: yes
g. Username: sma+deckmonitoring.com
h. Password: sma
i. Upload directory: /
j. Upload frequency per time window: MAX
k. Maximum number of upload attempts per time window: Unlimited

Note: the default time window is 06:00 to 22:00. This should be fine for most applications as the
inverters do not report without DC current. Alternatively, you can also set it to 00:00 to 23:45.

Fix the Date by Synchronizing the Webbox Clock Under WebBox -> Info.

a. Click the 'Synchronize' button to the right of 'Last Portal time synchronization'
b. Confirm that the date/time updates and it says OK.

Test the Connection Under WebBox -> Info.

a. Click the 'Upload' button to the right of ' Last FTP upload'
b. Confirm that the date/time updates and it says OK.
